A charming show that was one of the first to be driven by an internet fan base

Warning: Spoilers
I have fond memories of Lois and Clark, and Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher displayed superb chemistry for a series that should have gone on longer than four seasons. I find it a miscarriage of TV justice when Saved by the Bell runs longer than fine shows like Lois and Clark.

One memorable scene was when Clark Kent, Jimmy Olsen, and others were playing poker, and one of the poker players gleefully stated that if Superman was playing he would use his x-ray vision to see the other cards. This prompted a temptation to Clark to use his x- ray vision to do such a thing, before Jimmy stood up for Superman by saying that Superman would never do such a dishonest thing. Then Clark had second thoughts and didn't use his x-ray vision.

The internet fan base for Lois and Clark was impressive. I remember reading the email digests, and there was even a gathering at a restaurant of fans. I think it was held in Los Angeles and I believe K Callan (who played Martha Kent) made a guest appearance!! Also I remember the series used a wooden statue as a prop provided by a Lois and Clark fan, I think the fan's name was Suu (maybe she was of Indonesian descent). The internet fan base went into meltdown when they saw the prop in an episode.

I wish Lois and Clark was rebooted. It deserves a second run.
