This show is just so laid back and unpretentious. Its great. You get a ring side seat to the 'life happens' life of an actor without having to watch reality TV (barf). Seriously, this show is cool. The negative reviewers just don't get it. Sam, a struggling actor and single mother, juggles her personal and professional life. Approaching 40 and resigned to her less than stellar career she nevertheless carries on, focusing instead on family and friends. Wait, what?!, a leading role? Hope never dies. So much potential in this very hip new comedy series. With any luck it'll develop the following it deserves and we'll all get to enjoy it for many more seasons. (Hint hint Try it, you'll like it)
