Has anyone who rated this series so highly ever watched The Exorcist movie? The movie had everything--a phenomenal script, incredible performances, superb cinematography and outstanding direction. The series has none of that. I have continued to watch hoping at least one aspect would improve, but nothing does. The best of the lot, as far as acting goes, is Ben Daniels, but even he can't do much with lame dialogue. So happy that Ellen Burstyn said no or wasn't available to play Angela/Regan's mother--I wouldn't want her to be associated in anyway with this project--her original performance was Oscar nominated. This series needs to be exorcised.
