While I'm watching re-runs of nip/tuck, I can't help but think: *Does this show work because of the majority of very dis-likable characters?*
1. Julia McNamara - such an annoying and unappealing woman; if intended that way, Ms. Richardson deserves every award possible.
2. Matt McNamara - the actor playing the role is repulsing - no wonder he wasn't heard of any more after the show's end; the character he's playing is normal in the beginning, but turns into the most obnoxious, most disgusting tween possible. i imagine the actor got the chance to play himself. his true self. he's not that good of an actor.
Other than these two characters, the show's very watchable. Ryan Murphy's first real hit, way before AHS. Anyway, the show's quality goes belly-up after the season 3 finale. 6.0/10
