Not sure I have ever seen so much nonsense and mindlessly thrown in twists and hurdles for characters than in this beyond stupid episode. The ganja fog in the room where they were writing this must have been so thick not only they could not see each other, it seems even sound could not pass from person to person. Hey John, lets throw in Cat on the Airforce one, we have not seen her in a while. Sure, Joe, that is amazing. Lets also recycle the "who's longer" joke and make it feminine so it makes no sense and throw in some ""funny"" banter (which of course ends up being cringe worthy) for our extremely strong female characters at the most inappropriate time while the world is in peril for NO reason except to make the female characters seem so bad S. Only makes them seem idiotic. Though that might not be amazing enough, how about we make the president an alien. And then maybe lets just like, attack the army of aliens and their advanced ships (filled with half Jaffa half Guardians) with the Airforce One (???, I was actually thinking, is this for real or am I watching comedy central and where is Chuck Norris) and two jets, maybe we can destroy them. After all, the president is now an alien (not that anyone objects or is concerned even for a millisecond). U U U, guys, I can top that, lets make Cat even more bad S/important just for kicks and lets Madeline give her a call.
Watching this train wreck of an episode is an insult to viewers. One could write an esey on how bad it was,i am only picking on few things. Didn't even mention that pathetic plane crash site that they did not invest more than 2 minutes to create, or made from painted boxes Fortress of solitude , let alone forget the so so cheap twists like the canon getting destroyed just in the nick of time or the Superman being controled. I think this is the worst written episode and the most filled with clichés and stereoytpes that I have seen ever on any show ever. Even a generic episode generator where one could only change character names and plot points would have created a more original plot. Pa The Tic. And people get payed to write this nonsense.
