Nan (Allison Tolman) has her dog Martin, her work at Clark + Bow Outfitters in Pittsburg, and her on-again-off-again boyfriend Jason. Martin talks to the audience while trying to understand the confusing world and his relationship with Nan. Kevin is her annoying boss, and Jenn is her work friend.
I love Tolman since Fargo. She has a sweet persona. The dog's voice is good and they CGI the mouth for him to talk. The show does need to add something more to the concept. The cat as a villain could be expanded. Nan doesn't seem to have any family and only a few friends. The show needs one or two more main characters. It could be an animal character. There is a good foundation here to a sweet, fun show. It's canceled before it has a chance.
