I never read the book or saw the movie.
2/10 for me. It's polished, like the effects and concept, music, fights, sci-fi, supernatural setting, even the acting, and it will hit the mark for some, but it is too liberal, 'teen', high-school love story 'twilight fan-base'. As a whole, it's just not for someone like me. If you're 40+, look elsewhere. After wasting time on 10 episodes, I'm calling it quits.
