In the Image "Jacques Feyder" box set, we found Faces of Children (1923). At least I make it 1923 whereas IMDb prefers 1925.
Anyway, the film has certainly received some marvelous reviews, but I found it actually a little disappointing.
True, it builds to a heartily captivating (if somewhat melodramatic) climax, the photography is superb, the landscapes intriguing and the acting is fine, especially from Arlette Peyran in her only movie appearance.
Jean Forest of Crainquebille gives a realistic account of the hateful boy, but is far less ingratiating here.
In my opinion the film would have been more forceful had the writers made Jean Forest and Rachel Devirys (who plays the stepmother) more sympathetic.
