Hard to Take Seriously
21 March 2018
I didn't make it thru the 1st episode. There's too much baiting the viewer with repetitive hype, not un common on the HC...who needs to be constantly reminded what and why they're watching a program? Hook someone with interesting content. And be real. This was a group of no nothings (no real academics or experts) going on hunches and convincing themselves they're on the right trail. Their decisions and evidence begger belief. They're ecstatic to find an old bolt under a farmer's field. A field and location the chose on nothing more than supposition, really? BTW sister show Oak Island is what on season 5 or 6 of a similar drawn out quest with no discovery, only clues clues clues.

Compare that to the 5 episode The Hunt for the Zodiac Killer. Great production, concrete finds, and gripping form one episode to the next. Can we please see more!?
