Cordy's Visions Hurt!
3 April 2018
Warning: Spoilers
In "That Vision Thing", Cordy's visions begin to physically manifest themselves on her body, leaving scars, burns, and boils. Angel must discover why "the powers that be" would do this to her or whether thus is coming from an alternative source.

I was a bit underwhelmed by the series opener but I thought this episode was strong. I loved the plot idea. Wolfram & Hart is constantly antagonizing Angel but this time they may have gone over the line. Lilah's character seems a bit more human than Lindsey. You can see the genuine fear she has of Angel, almost signaling that she may not be cut out for this role she currently has. I loved the character of Skip, that scene was great.

I also like the idea that occasionally Angel makes mistakes. He accidentally kills a few good guys in this one, not knowing which side they are on. This is bound to happen to a vampire on the good side.

Angel's relationship with Cordy is now fully three dimensional. He'll go against his ethics to protect her, even if that involves unleashing an unknown evil upon the world. I also like these little scenes with Darla that have popped up on the side. It's a nice subplot. Season 3 is back on track!
