This isn't the greatest cartoon remake of all time but it's still pretty good. I like its reinterpretation of the Looney Tunes universe. No longer are they chasing after each other as much they are chasing their next paycheck. Instead they're trying to make it in the real world (most of them). The voices took me a while to get used to but they're still pretty good. Bugs and Daffy have great chemistry together. It's great to see them bounce off each other. Lola and Tina are also great additions to the show for the same reasons. It would've been cool to see Taz anthropomorphic rather than as a dog but it's still great to see him. One thing I like is how after all these years we finally see Bugs get even with Cecil Turtle in a few episodes. The songs are OK, many of them are very hit or miss. Songs like "Blew my Stack" and "I'm a Martian" are fine but others as "Skunk Funk" and "We are in Love" are annoying and forgettable.The animation's pretty good. The redesigns are interesting and they put a new spin on the characters. It really helps them when they move or talk or when a gag happens.
If there's one thing that bothers me it was the CGI Road Runner and Coyote shorts. Some of them were OK but the rest weren't all that. What made the original shorts great was how it was traditionally animated and how they played around with it. With it being CGI it really loses its charm and edge. The original hand drawn shorts still stand the test of time and have aged well while amazingly it the new CGI ones look cheap. Thankfully they ceased making them in the second season though after that the show was cancelled which's a shame. The show wasn't that bad, if anything I wish it had lasted longer. It was cool how they took the franchise in a much different direction. It's cool to see the characters modernized dealing with life in a more grounded way. If you like Looney Tunes then you'll like this cartoon. There's something for everyone here.
