We start out with a beating scene where the foley is laughable, the punches sound like someone banging a plastic bucket with a stick. His face has just a little steak of blood, no sweling after being beat half to deathj. If they can't even do proper foley, proper makeup, how much care will they take with the rest? Very little.
And this is the classic stupid scene where the bad guys need to tell the guy they are about to kill how bad and wroing he was. Hey, he's going to be dead, you don't really need to tak to him.
It goes traight downhill from there, the sudden invitation by a new neighbor to the evil nightclub, and a stream of sterotypes and staged confrontations. Rob Van Dam has all the acting skills often seen in a high school play.
