In no comparison to "Anand"
18 September 2018
A friend infiltrating a labor community to avenge the humiliation of his best friend, a mill owner, just to change his side forms the crux of this film starring a legendary star duo, Rajesh Khanna and Amitabh Bachchan following "Anand." Undoubtedly, the story is pretty genuine in comparison to the formulaic capers; but in comparison to "Anand," it stands nowhere close in terms of performances, roles, or narration. The first half is marred by its improbabilities and cheaper gags while the ending fails to address the issues it raises on capitalists. Just a cool advice: don't miss "Anand" but go for it for an on screen clash of the star duo where Amitabh Bachchan gives rise to his angry young man image.
