Warning: Spoilers
This film had lots of potential and could have been so much more interesting instead of this slow tale that has a massive plot hole the size of Mars.

Spoiler: the main character of Paco supposedly lives in this small town and everyone knows that he knocked up his ex girlfriend before she flew off to Argentina to marry another man. Except by some miracle he is the only person that does not know Irene is his real daughter. But we never find out any details until the 3rd act and he feels suddenly guilty over this issue being hidden from him for 16 years so he pays the kidnap ransom fee to save his daughter. Huh???

The other issue is the writer decides to leave the ending open to interpretation which is fine....it's a moral family issue. Perhaps the point is the journey and the the ending yet so much could have been done in the 3rd act.....

Judge for yourself as the film is still well done and very well acted yet could have been a lot shorter and more interesting and its a shame ....but maybe there is a sequel..... Everyone has forgiven.

I give it a 6 as it was entertaining due to strong performances from everyone esp Javier and Penelope and supporting cast also. Nice to see indy films with small town village soap opera drama stories and maybe it will inspire more filmmakers to follow Asghar footsteps. Great effort!!! Looking forward to the next one.
