Lakshya (2004)

Laskhya to har haal mein pana hai.

When talking about indian war films, there always had been badly choreographed action sequences, dramatic dialogues and Sunny Deol shouting. But Lakshya was different. War had some strategy & we could see it happening through very well choreographed war scenes. It sometimes reminded me of saving private Ryan. Although it's not that great. Acting of Hrithik Roshan in first half is very poor when he played son of rich father who has no aim or goal about future. His over enthusiasm felt childish. Acting, In second half when he joined indian army is acceptable. Rest of the cast is good. Music is the very plus point of this movie. Runtime of movie is almost 3 hour but won't make you bore. Overall it was nice watch. And ofcourse the dance of Hrithik in Main Aisa Kyon Hoon is brilliantly brilliant. The setting of this song is very unique, the presentation of this song is just marvellous. No disco lights, no fast cuts through the scene. Just pure cinematic brilliance, the song and movie too.
