Hallmark very rarely features over 40 characters, so this movie is refreshing.
Kelly Rutherford really shines as a widowed mother of a college freshman just crawling out of her shell.
Mackenzie Vega is great as her daughter, and Gold Medal Olympian Gabby Douglas does a fine job.
