I'm a big fan of "Gossip Girl" and it is literally one of the best and most addicting shows. It's definitely more of a girly show. It drama, comedy, romance... everything you could want.
There's also so many diverse characters that you definitely find someone whom you can admire or who has more similarities with you. Moreover, there is so much character development through the series, both positive (Chuck Bass) and negative (Dan Hamphrey), and you really get to experience what it must be like to be an obscenely rich teenager in New York. The concept of a gossip website tracking these characters was really in tune with the time that we live in, which I think is what makes it so relatable, because we can all envisage such a thing existing in our own lives, surrounding our own social groups. Every time I rewatch this programme, I feel differently about certain characters, which speaks for it's depth; that I can initially dislike a character, then during a rewatch, notice things that make me empathetic towards them, and consequently like them. The only person I don't feel this way about is Dan Humphrey(the gossip girl). I absolutely hated his character towards the end, he's a huge hypocrite, he's nasty, shallow, and vindictive. Also, I didn't like the fact the he was the actual Gossip girl, not anyone else, like Dorota for example. One of the most funniest and favorite characters of this show. This is one of the advantages o this show, which is having some funny and positive character, who can't be nasty to anyone.
Now I want to talk more about the movies real advantages, which doesn't have any connection to the story of the show. One of the most attractive things of this show is its clothing. We see stylish and expensive clothing and it is one of the reasons why people like this show. Another plus is the actors. We see beautiful, professional actors. Also I want to mention that even if I mentioned that I didn't like Dan's character, it doesn't mean that movie makers did a bad work by choosing this actor. No, actually choosing not beautiful actor for a nasty character is one of the righ things. Thus, even this choice makes this Tv show better towards the others. Also a specific thank to Chuck and Blair couple. They are the real reason why people watch this show. Their acting, look and also intriguing relationships make this show much more better. Yes, the last advantage of this show is as I already mentioned the development of the characters and the intriguing storylines.
