Weak main plot, but there's something I see different than most...

Warning: Spoilers
Two (!) cops putting down their guns when a known killer is aiming at them? Total nonsense.

I don't get the judge either, who had a fair chance of shooting the bad guy for quite some time. Quite possibly the only chance to survive, when you are locked in with two stupid cops who let themselves be disarmed so easily...

But okay, she wasn't trained for such a situation, and a mother wants to save her daughter at any price, so I can accept that. But NOT JJ and Reid putting down their guns, to say it again.

In spite of not being a shipper, I found the JJ/Reid situation very well played and credible. It was especially the awkwardness of the whole thing that saved it for me. It does happen, You know? Two people having a special bond an become friends for years. They have their separate lives, but maybe at times over the years feelings come up that border on romance or even more - but not at the same time for both, or they simply feel that they don't want to destroy the lives they have. Or their friendship.

Noone is save from developing new feelings, but for now it looks that JJ and Reid wanted to be honest about it, but will try to handle the situation like responsible adults do. Did they feel awkward? Certainly so, but I don't think the actors did, but the persons they portray, and Matthew and A.J. definitely made me feel with JJ and Reid. Best acting I have seen in CM for a long time.

I just hope the writers don't take the easy way and kill off Will... I expect some more bittersweet moments - and hopefully some better written main plots.
