It is just funny how painfully unfunny this is
3 July 2019
I feel like a couple of supposedly well to do upcoming comedians decided they needed something to at least land views for them on a wider, more accessible scale. So they turned to Adult Swim, a network (who no disrespect) has as many quality comedies as they do try-hard and poorly conceived ones.

While a good handful of Adult Swim's productions are hit or miss, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! (as inventive of a title as that is) is in the 1% of just being a flat out miss, and a blatantly poor attempt at two rather juvenile level comedians selling a show similar to everything else on Adult Swim. However, here's the catch, every skit has 0 traces of substance or wit and is only held afloat by the grace of celebrity guest stars that questioningly bother giving this coverage. There is no real quality, comical inspiration to this series, and all of it is again just experimental attempts at being funny. It is good to be experimental, but only if you have something worthwhile to experiment with, and the jokes and skits in this are lightyears away from that.

This series is about as good as anything uploaded to a YouTube channels run by 12-year olds. And from a couple of middle aged men, that sadly says a lot about their concept of comedy. I feel sorry for those that do find this production even remotely funny.

Maybe next time, gentlemen.
