Honest review of this gowd awful "movie"!! It starts out making no sense with two guys who are at a deer stand or some kind of stand in the woods, at night with rifles. The meteors start hitting the earth & the wolves are the first to instantly be affected. The two guys don't even fire a shot as the wolves are getting ready to attack. Next it goes to three girls in a an old ford truck, (they must have got a cheap deal on fords because they are all in this). The girls go in the house and you kind out nothing about who they are or anything!!! This is where some reviews have stated about no plot, no story development, no character introduction or anything!!!
As the movie moves along, dogs are barking & the camera shows us the glowing fragments near houses, businesses, trees where apples are being picked but NO character sees them, that's not odd at all when they are in plain sight!!! It also shows the horrific acting!!!
All the dogs start turning on the humans with the exception of a handful!!! The question is, why were these dogs not affected? Cats are in trees as one reviewer pointed out but NO ONE says anything about a tree full of cats!!!
Then we get near the end when a truck gets stuck for NO REASON!!! We also move to how inaccurate this is!! Rob Morrow,(he couldn't save this garbage) finally gets up with his wife and young daughter & he is driving a Chevy when they all get in. The camera starts cutting from inside the truck to the outside as the drive down the road. The outside scenes of the truck on the pavement is a ford, but they are in a Chevy. Then they get off the main road and some scenes show a single cab Chevy that's right but then it out of the blue shows an extended cab ford ranger just before cutting back to a Chevy hitting a dirt mound!!! That's not inaccurate at all!!!
It says filmed in Louisiana but you can tell that's not even true!!! There are NO snow covered mountains down there!!! It's clearly filmed somewhere north of there!!! Not only that but the writers, producers & director should NEVER be given a job in films again!!!
