This is a good film. It looks at the African-American troops that were gearing up for World War 2, but at a time when there was high racism in many areas, not just the army, but in general.
The film starts with some good music, kinda jazz/blues style, and then you have a black officer that gets shot and killed. Its not giving the story away, this is in the first 10mins or so of the film. Then, its all down to a lawyer that arrives and tries to piece it all together.
This is an early film for Denzil Washington, in fact as the credits start on the film, he's way down the list.
Highly recommended, no actual war stuff, all centered around the killing and who did it etc.
