God awful! Or is it supposed to be?
10 August 2019
In the maze of rubbish American TV that us poor Brits have to navigate in order to find something worth watching, this stands out.....for the appalling acting, paint -by-numbers script and ridiculous storylines.

As in most American TV programmes, the cast are all improbably good-looking, overly made-up and over-styled, but hey, we'd expect nothing less, right? God forbid they'd employ any 'normal' looking actors who could actually act!

Tom Ellis, bless his cotton socks, tries his best. His accent veers between 'cockerney' cor blimey guvnor to posh twit to camp as Graham Norton and he manages to deliver his lines without looking too embarrassed, but I bet he wishes he was still Miranda's love interest.

Maybe the writers were aiming for a pastiche of the all too many other shockingly bad programmes that are relentlessly churned out and could've even been funny but the director wasn't in in the joke?

Tom, come home lad, even a stint on EastEnders would test your acting talent better than this pile of hot, stinking tripe!
