Review of Malgudi Days

Malgudi Days (1986–2006)

Malgudi Days needs to be in film archives. It narrates thoughtful and well directed fictional stories reflecting Bharath from pre-indepedence and just after. These are stories of common men and families and how they lived in those political situations. All the stories have a dose of humour and innocence which strike a chord in the viewer. We are all left with wanting to go back to that village, those times, as if a gnawing memory from previous births.
