This episode begins a multi episode arc (again) of what at least appears to be political corruption within upper FBI leadership. Yuck. Stop it already. In general, I hate witch-hunts and even more so as a trope in a crime procedural. When you juxtapose that with recent reports that appear accurate of real life corruption it becomes too disturbing.
Writers, go back to the wheel house of this show which is criminal behavioral analysis solving crimes.
