I didn't get much plot or characterisation from "Staying on Top", but I have to give it a positive review anyway, because it definitely works as soft core. I believe - though I'm not quite sure - that the movie is about a woman who decides to use sex to get to the top of her industry, whatever it is, and an evil scheming woman who tries to stop her. Lots and lots and lots of sex ensues.
About that sex. Some of these women are quite beautiful, especially one named Sasha Peralto, who is one of those natural beauties that really lights up the screen. You don't often get that in soft core. Usually it's women who are only passably attractive, augmented by thousands of dollars of surgery. The highlight is definitely a massage scene that turns into a lesbian sex scene.
There is also a surprise ending, which was fairly memorable, though I didn't get much plot leading up to it, and just barely understood who the bad guy (girl) was supposed to be.
I still say check it out.
