While not an "action movie", this film maintains a high level of tension throughout, pretty much guaranteed to keep you focused the whole way through, something that is not the case with a lot of movies.
I saw it a couple of years ago, but didn't understand it, even though it's not like there is anything that is difficult to follow nor a lot of characters to keep track of or such. I believe I left it the first time thinking, so is the idea that she was just hallucinating her daughter still being alive?
After viewing it again it seems pretty clear that was indeed the story.
One thing I thought was very good about the plot was that by all appearances it was of the "violent husband obsessively tracks down fleeing wife" genre, but proved to be quite the contrary at the end.
I still don't understand what her assault of the man at the beginning of the film was about.
