While Kevin Hart feels kind of like a bootleg Will Smith at times, I haven't seen the original. SO this was enjoyable. It wasn't a spectacular masterpiece of film, and the movie never really gets to be super high stakes or anything like that. But it had me at a few times. Most of the comedy coming from Bryan Cranston. The Upside is acted well and an enjoyable film, but doesn't break any new ground.
