The Shed (I) (2019)

Decent, but slow. So slow.

Warning: Spoilers
This movie wasn't all bad. I will admit that I was a little apprehensive after watching the first 10 minutes of it, but then it slowly got a little better. Not much though. The acting was decent and the storyline wasn't too terribly bad. Had some holes in it, but it admittedly was a lot better than some others I've seen.

The problem I had with it was how slow it was. And by slow I mean the intense scenes just dragged on to the point I lost the intense feeling by the time the big moment happened. And those "scary" moments weren't really all that scary.

That and I noticed soooooo many editing mistakes that were just so obvious. The camera lights you can clearly see reflecting on the kids picture in his room being the most obvious. Plus the several scenes where things changed that shouldn't have. To be honest, I never notice stuff like this in movies, but these were not subtle at all. Stuff like that makes the film go down a bit with the laziness.

And the ending? Come on. Why didn't he just light the shed on fire to begin with?????? Oh wait, but then there'd be no movie.....
