So bad that it's quite entertaining

A ludicrous trip through the past which says loads about race, gender, colonialism, and environmentalism, without even having meant to. As an historical document about cultural norms in the late 1940s it is fascinating.

True, the film is bad in just about every respect - daft story, patchy acting, huge amounts of stock footage to pad it out, plot full of holes - but it is so bad that it kept my interest all the way through.
