Amanda Bynes has good comedic timing and a knack for slapstick / physical comedy, which made the first few episodes of this show funny... but that's it.
The writing changed after that and it got progressively worse.. by season 3 it had become unwatchable so I stopped. Jennie Garth isn't great at comedy and tries too hard to be cute, plus the baby voice and squealing don't help. All we have is both of them chasing after guys who are not interested and/or are pigs and/or in relationships, and no more slaptstick but rather Amanda Bynes' bratty, lying, self-centered character trying to pass off as funny. A shame.
