Back to a slower pace with this episode. There were definitely some interesting things happening; the Saul-Haqqani dynamic was really nice to watch, and I'm intrigued by Carrie and Yevgeny. The plot lines are all setting up, and this episode established a couple more, and when they start to intersect I can tell it will be immense. This episode was more of a slow burner set up, and some of the events were kinda baffling. I don't really get what's going on between Max and all the soldiers or why it's necessary, and Haqqani's son being against him seemed pretty forced and chucked in to progress the plot. I feel like that's the kinda thing that can't just happen straight away like it has done here. Overall it was an ok episode but it's set the scene for potentially amazing future episodes.
