Warning: Spoilers
Following two months away from her husband Jean (a likable performance by Umberto Orsini), the totally emancipated Emmanuelle (an entrancing portrayal by the lovely Sylvia Kristel) reunites with Jean in Hong Kong. While in Hong Kong Emmanuelle gets pursued by airplane pilot Christopher (dashing Frederic Lagache) and decides to induct sweet young teen Anna-Maria (yummy blonde Catherine Rivet) into the wondrous world of carnal pleasure.

Director Francis Giacobetti relates the slight, but still engrossing story at a hypnotically deliberate pace, ably crafts an intoxicating sensuous atmosphere, and makes the most out of the exotic Hong Kong locations. Moreover, the sizzling soft-core sex scenes are quite hot and arousing without ever becoming too graphic or raunchy. The ever-delicious Laura Gemser has a small, but memorable role as a gorgeous masseuse. Both Robert Fraisse's sumptuous widescreen cinematography and Francis Lai's lush'n'elegant score further enhance the overall steamy mood. A worthy sequel.
