The series truly stays true too the movie without skipping a beat, the stereotypes are smashed with truth no sugarcoating here, I liked the true grit too the series not a whole lot of comedy, the series is well grounded. The only thing I disliked the series was filmed in Toronto not Chicago but hey get your tax breaks for filming wherever you can.
