Tropes are there for a reason, they are often core foundations for the stories we love (and love to hate) so it's not necessarily a bad thing to find an anime packed with them.
Akame Ga Kill is filled with more than a few, but also has enough of its own unique twists on the classic stories to make it enjoyable.
