"You can really cook!"

Warning: Spoilers
Boy, do I hate films like this! Not because of the slimy characters and shoddy script writing, but with the horrible twist ending that guarantees the story never even happened. I first ran across something similar with the 1953 Lloyd Bridges flick, "The Limping Man". Wait, correction on that, it was that season on "Dallas" when Bobby Ewing awoke from a dream and put the entire season in the trash can. It leaves the viewer (at least this one) feeling ripped off for having wasted the time getting involved with the story. Not that there was much of a story here. Horny lounge singer Tony Trelos (Peter Carpenter) gets off on his hunky body and any babe that comes his way, and manages to dodge a couple police investigations over the violent deaths of a couple acquaintances. Come to think of it, that might have been a tip off that this picture was going nowhere. One can speculate who it was that encountered Tony on the beach at the end of the movie, but does it really matter? I didn't even let it occupy my mind.
