Everybody is 'Kamyaab' in their own way! Bollywood needs more such movies.

This film is the rare gem in the Bollywood. Not many films you will come across carrying this genre. Apart from making those masala movies, where the recipe is the same of every movie, this is the actual art.. the art of storytelling.. the art of directing.. the real art of drama as a whole!

Each and every shot in the film is relevant to the story. There's no pretentious showcasing of glamour just to make movie look nice. We don't need to talk about acting of Sir Sudhir Mishra, his acting talent is always outstanding. I was actually delighted to see Deepak Dobriyal in the movie and he did his role in the most perfect way. These are the actors that never disappoint.

This movie takes you on the journey into the life of an ageing side actor named Sudheer, played by Sudhir Mishra himself. By the time he has retired, he has completed 499 movies in his career (as a sidekick in all of them). Being unknown to this fact of his, he considers himself as an actor who has no presence in the minds of people in today's time even after playing so many characters in the Bollywood. What he believes is, a sideactor remains as a side actor for whole of his life and has no worth. His analogy of considering himself as 'aloo' is actually convincing. Now when he realizes the fact that he is only 1 movie short to complete the record of 500 titles in his career, the spark of acting comes back in his life. Now he decides to get a good memorable role for his 500th film so that he becomes immortal in the memories of the viewers for that very role.

This whole film is the story ahead of how he gets the role and it so perfectly covers the insights in the life of a struggling actor, or the actor who has aged now and is no more famous. The most important part of the film is in the end, the phase of self-discovery.

Now, the message I guess the movie wants to spread is 'everybody is kamyaab in their own way'. Its not like we have to do this particular thing to prove the world that we are successful. And the other thing this movie conveys is no matter how brilliant a side actor is, but the fame and stardom always stays attached only to the lead actors or so called heroes.
