Warning: Spoilers
Just like the other reviewers here, I have very fond memories of this show. I grew up in a Liverpool Catholic family and my whole family found it hilarious. There are two lovely moments I remember clearly. One was Bunjy's uncle, the Priest, saying, 'Let us pray for the Queen', then just as people are about to kneel, shouting, 'Amen!' Another was Mammy going into the cinema to see - so she thought - a film about 'a lovely dying nun'. It was in fact, 'The Killing of Sister George', the lesbian drama. I can still see the look on her face as she saw what was happening on the screen. I can understand why it was wiped however. The was a strong pro-IRA thread in several jokes - including armed salutes at a funeral. Much missed nonetheless.
