killing women
2 June 2020
Former executioner Ogami Itto roams the land with his son Daigoro as a sword for hire. Assassins including a clan of swordswomen have been hired to kill him. Meanwhile, he's been hired by a clan which got rich from a dye monopoly. His target is a traitor looking to sell the dye secrets and is protected by three brothers with individual weapon skills.

I really love the female assassins. Their attack is really harrowing. There is something truly disturbing about chopping up a bunch of women. It is so shocking that it could have been the whole movie. As last, their battle is rather short-lived and they are only one part of the movie. The other parts are pretty good with all blood splattering sword play. It's also a little surprising that the kid gets in a few slices. This is a classic Samurai movie.
