This is really really funny. I didn't know what to expect with a "deleted scenes" movie. Usually deleted scenes are deleted for a good reason and I don't bother watching them usually. I thought it would be clunky and weird. It wasn't. It was weird how cohesive this was. The only thing that I didn't like was that they try to play this off as happening after the original movie. Which works for the most part and if we hadn't seen the first movie this could work.
But when Veronica and Ron go on their first date and you can see that Veronica is repulsed and not madly in love like they're claiming. Any awkwardness or confusion, which isn't much comes from this repurposing of these scenes. It would have worked better as "here's also what was going on." Because a lot of these scenes are cut out bits from scenes in the actual movie.
That's my only gripe, which is small. For a special features movie this is fantastic. And I can't complain with more Anchorman. These scenes are totally on par with the movie. Just as many good lines.
