I absolutely loved this movie the first time I watched it. My favorites were there...Annette, Tommy Kirk, Elsa Lanchester...Plus the usual regular beach part people. Thought it was unique using Frankie Avalon as the alien leader and you didn't actually get to see him until the very end. Fear not, he is in this picture, just differently. I did miss him being with Annette, though, to be perfectly honest. But paring her with Tommy Kirk was wonderful memories back to the old Disney movies, which I happen to love. Of course there's the usual guest stars appearing or reappearing such as Buster Keaton.... "Cowabunga!"
Well worth a watch down memory lane with most of the actors. The storyline involves Tommy Kirk playing an alien from Mars, trying to understand Earthlings for the upcoming invasion. Of course, there's the love interest between him and Annette. Clearly this was one of my favorites of the series. Once again I rate this lower because of the campiness of these movies, but to me, they're all a 10.
