The interaction and relationships between these characters is authentic and genuine. This is a very real depiction of hood life from a Boricua perspective. Hits close to home being from Chicago growing up in the Humboldt Park area. It's a shame that there hasn't been an English language Puerto Rican movie as good as this one since.
