I like the characters and the setting but it's a bit slow moving, and some of it is so unbelievable. Why do the police make such stupid choices (breaking in to houses without warrants; going in to dangerous situations alone?). Why don't they have a police vehicles and have to rely on a broken down car? Why doesn't the female lead detective make enough money to hire a babysitter? It's OK and I'm on season 2 now, but I do find a lot of the writer decisions for this questionable.
