I can understand the buzz around this movie and it was very well done. Unfortunately the story is a bit slow and blend in my opinion, the non ending also doesn't help a lot. The brothers scene near the ending was nice and important. In the end, unfortunately, I don't care enough about any characters to feel good or bad dor them.
The fact that the main actor even gives me Chalamet vibes made it impossible for me not to draw parallels to CMBYN. Both main characters have the female " special friend" until an outside guy comes around and turns their life around, just for them to go back to where they came from and get back and get engaged. The brother talk is the dad talk in CMBYN.
