Some pretty ordinary performances and, as the final quarter approaches you feel as though you're watching a plot that's been transplanted throughout most countries film industries over the years, after starting life by germinating in America. But then it wakes up and, without giving anything away, becomes a film that would struggle to take root in too many places and might even be considered propaganda, a party political broadcast by the common man (and woman I assume).
