Mixture of peoples

Warning: Spoilers
It's all about a mixture of people, a division of people according to their social status. The downtrodden or the low-class society are supposed to be caged in between low-class phenomena and the only remedy to uplift from the situation is suicide or doing something outlaw. Here two characters Maalu and Kuttan represent the two ideologies that I mentioned earlier. Maalu being raped by the doctor committed suicide and on the other hand, Kuttan witnessed the overseer take advantage of his sister (with her concern) kills him at the end. Aravindan linked each character so thoroughly to understand what their actual character is. The movie begins with the arrival of electricity to their remote village and then somehow points out the problems associates with this newly invented technology. It is not about that fault of that technology, it is not applicable in their periphery because the people didn't need electricity there. Anyway, the film deals with the complex emotions inside simple human beings.
