A film dedicated to the 3rd Guards Tank Army of Marshal Rybalko. Junior Lieutenant Maleshkin has just graduated from college and is now going to the Right-Bank Ukraine, where heavy fighting is taking place. He was immediately entrusted with the command of the crew of the SU-100 self-propelled gun (the mistake of the film is actually the Su-85).
A surprisingly simple and non-pathetic film that, in addition to battles, manages to tell a story about the usual relationships of soldiers in a team.
