This 1981 horror film is based on a book, "Teddy" which tells about a young boy, Jamie (Sammy Snyders) who has trouble fitting in and is going through puberty. He's a bit odd, but is able to communicate with his Teddy Bear
that gives him bad ideas. Soon, Jamie meets his new babysitter/housekeeper, Sandy (Jeannie Elias) and is fixated on her, but in the process he starts feeding ancient creatures dwelling in a pit that crave human flesh. This is a bizarre yet amusing 80's flick with some gore and twistedness. It also precedes "Child's Play," "The Gate" & "Troll" with the evil creature/demon & toy aspects, so if you grew up with those, you'll probably enjoy this.
