When the episode begins Stan wants an activity that he can share and do with his son; he tries football, golf and bike but they all fail. He discovers bowling and Steve becomes a champion; soon the bowling coach (voiced by Lance Henriksen) comes by and notices Steve's great ability and proposes him to participate in the monthly tournaments; Steve has success but Stan is left out as players' relatives can't participate to tournaments and he soon hatches an evil scheme; to stab Steve on his leg and making him lose. After Steve finds out about it, he eventually forgives his dad and all returns to normal. In the meanwhile Klaus tries to make a tournament for deciding who has less attention span between Roger and Hayley (and the latter loses of course).
I really liked the first story as I am a professional bowler myself and I am also nearly unbeatable even with my best friend. Stan's scheme was a letdown tho and I thought that he was such a jerk for doing that. Overall, among the best and most enjoyable episodes in the series
