Warning: Spoilers
Ugh.

Okay, start with the good. It's very well shot and the acting isn't bad for a mostly D-list cast.

Now the bad parts. Let's start with our premise - SPOILERS - Some mysterious creatures which are invisible so they don't have to do any creature effects have eaten all the sea life and are now moving up to killing the humans on a tiny Island.

The plot also relies on the premise that the government would go through ALL the trouble of cutting this Island off, but then only send out one guy to try to capture the monster. Really? Because they want to weaponize the monsters and they never saw any of the Alien movies to know why that's a terrible idea.

So you have the angst of these Islanders getting on each other's nerves because they apparently didn't have more than a couple of days of food and fuel on hand.

So guys, if you are going to do an alien rip off, then you need to have the payoff of a really effective looking monster when you finally reveal your monster. Seriously, Ridley Scott figured this out 40 years ago!!!

The characters are kind of one-note, to be polite, so you don't really feel anything when they are inevitably picked off.
