Willie And The Yank. Kurt Russell and James MacArthur played the title roles
respectively.
Set in the Civil War the two are on opposite sides literally and historically. Both are on picket duty on each side of a river. Russell and MacArthur have worked out their own private arrangement. Of course some of the higher ups on both sides take the war more seriously.
The Civil War wasn't as much fun as these two seem to be having. Usually I like Disney's work. But this Rover boy romp just can't be taken seriously.
